Marv and Rindy Ross of Quarterflash talk to Iris about their new album "Love is a Road."

15:53 minutes Marv and Rindy Ross of Quarterflash talk to Iris about their new album "Love is a Road."

The first time I saw Seafood Mama at Frankensteins, I remember thinking that Rindy Ross was the coolest rock chick ever! She not only had that amazing voice, but she also played SAX! Marv and Rindy Ross took the seeds of that band to a record deal, changed the name to Quarterflash, released a debut album that went platinum, and are part of Portland music royalty! Not only surviving and thriving in the music business, they are still together, and being in this business and still married is a very big deal. Believe me, I know.
In this conversation we talk about their new album, “Love is a Road,” and how the songs came about, The Trail Band projects, and more.
Quarterflash will be playing at the 7th Annual Oregon Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Concert, October 5th at the Aladdin Theater, along with The Kingsmen and Richmond Fontaine. The show sold out last year, so get your tickets now!
