He's known as "The Big BA" around Portland. We've worked together at a couple of different radio stations, and twice here at KGON. BA hired me to work at KVAN in 1976 thus starting my Portland odyssey in radio, and I was able to return the favor when I hired him back to work at KGON in 1987. When I first met BA, he was not only the Program Director for KVAN, but also Stage Manager for the Portland Paramount Theater (now the Schnitzer), he managed the band Sequel, started his own business Internetjock.com, still graces the airwaves doing his blues show at KINK, and well, he's a Portland Radio LEGEND! He's also my friend and a fellow December baby. This isn't really an interview as much as two friends swapping stories for 20 minutes. Sorry it's so long, but believe me, we could have gone on much longer. Enjoy.
